Popular wearable towel sold nationally recalled over fire hazard risks

A popular children's accessory for beach and pool days has been recalled due to fire risk fears.

Several wearable towels by Volcom have been recalled by Product Safety Australia because they are missing fire hazard labels.

There is a serious risk of burn or injury if exposed to a heat or flame source, Product Safety Australia said.

The items were for sale between January 1, 2022 and October 31, 2024.
